Superbreak and Laterooms Collapse


Following the news that Superbreak & Laterooms have ceased all operations and gone into administration we here at tifgroup would like to clarify what is available to policyholders.

If you are currently on a Super Break holiday which is an ABTA protected package (rail or other non-flight packages) you should be able to continue with your trip as planned, but you can contact ABTA if you encounter any difficulties with arrangements on 0203 117 0553.

Laterooms.com did not itself take payments and that all booking and payments should be secure with the accommodation supplier. We recommend that you check with the supplier. The company’s statement states:

Late Rooms Direct to Consumer

We regret to advise you that Late Rooms Limited (trading as LateRooms.com) has ceased trading with immediate effect and is in administration. KPMG have been appointed as administrators.

In relation to your forthcoming booking(s), LateRooms.com acted as an agent on behalf of your accommodation supplier therefore we anticipate that your reservation is secure and your payment will be taken by the accommodation supplier either in advance (for non-refundable reservations) or at the property.

LATE ROOMS LIMITED HAVE NOT TAKEN ANY PAYMENT FOR YOUR BOOKING

We recommend however that you contact your accommodation supplier directly prior to travelling to confirm. You can find their contact details on your booking confirmation.

To amend or cancel your booking you will need to contact the accommodation supplier directly.

Cancellation or curtailment is something which is not normally covered when it is due to End Supplier failure, unless specific cover has been purchased. Please refer to your policy wording.
